High-Speed Rail on NPR

Folks interested in passenger rail might be interested to know that NPR recently aired a multi-part series about the prospect of high-speed rail in the United States. (h/t The Infrastructurist.) Of particular interest to me and my fellow Madisonians is the episode "Midwestern States All Aboard High-Speed-Rail Push".

There are 7 parts in all:

States Make Pitches For High-Speed-Rail Money

Midwestern States All Aboard High-Speed-Rail Push

California Edges Ahead In High-Speed-Train 'Race'

Some Regions Better Prepared For High-Speed Rail

A Hitch For Rail Riders: Getting To Final Destination

High-Speed Rail Skeptic Outlines Position
