Legends Through Sound Survive

Three generations can't be wrong
Roll around, roll around with their favorite songs
Vinyl disc, power to hypnotize
Vision of blues and jumpin' jives
Colors and sound surround sittin' by the gramophone

The Dulcinea sent me a link to a cool site by Tim Gracyk which has a country ton of articles about phonographs and old records. Ever wanted to read a history of Victrola needles? If so, then this is your place. Or perhaps you want to know about the popular music of 100 years ago.

The site tends to concentrate on the United States so, if you're Canadian, The Virtual Gramophone might be the thing for you. No, you won't find any Rush or Alanis Morissette there but you will find a history of Canadian recorded sound and lots of stuff to which you can listen.

Yes, there was life before the CD and mp3.
