The Battle of the Books began yesterday as Greg Palast released his latest tome, Armed Madhouse! while Ann Coulter did the same with her screed, Godless. Today Palast issued a challenge to Coulter: "I suggest this, Anne: let’s debate. Set the time, set the place, and I’ll be there. Nose to nose, my facts versus your fanaticism."
While I commend Palast for his willingness, I don't think Coulter is up for a debate. I can imagine it now. Palast would talk about disenfranchised voters and Coutler would say that they shouldn't be allowed to vote anyway. And so on.
