Ducks in a Tree

I woke up last Sunday to find ducks hanging out in the tree in the backyard. They were joined by a squirrel.

If only Robert Burns had written a poem about ducks. He could have called it "To A Duck, On Seeing Her Up In A Tree With A Squirrel".

Wee, sleekit, quackin, tim'rous beastie,
O, what a panic's in thy breastie!
Thou need na start awa sae hasty,
Bickering like a horn!
Squirrels wad be laith to rin an' chase thee,
Wi' murd'ring acorn!
