With the spring-like weather outside and the fact that I'm taking a class in medieval history, I thought this bit of marginalia was appropriate:



I found it over at a newly-discovered blog called Got Medieval. The image was culled from a 14th century Italian book of hours which were devotionals for the faithful full of prayers and the like.
