More Priestly Revelations

Pope Fritzy can whine about conspiracies all he wants and Spanish bishops can continue to blame the children for priests who can't keep their dicks in their pants ("There are 13 year old adolescents who are under age and who are perfectly in agreement with, and what’s more wanting it, and if you are careless they will even provoke you," he said.) but, sadly, the ruined lives and the paperwork showing that the Church aided and abetted paedophiles keeps piling up.

Close to home, Rev. Thomas Brundage has been caught lying, er, misremembering, details relating to the child rapist Father Lawrence Murphy in Milwaukee.

Brundage wrote a March 29 article disputing media reports that he had been ordered to freeze the judicial process.

But new documents that were first reported by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel show he penned a rough draft of the very letter saying he had been instructed to abate the process.

Brundage apologized Friday, saying he misremembered something that happened so long ago.

Then we have news from Norway. Despite almost being able to count the number of Catholics on one hand, they still have a priestly child rapist.

Lastly comes the disgusting revelations in "The 'Pedophile's Paradise'". Native Alaskan villages became "dumping grounds" for pedophilic priests. Suicides followed. The Catholic Church even had a "fixer" up there named Patrick Wall. Luckily his conscience got the better of him and he left the Church. Here are some of his choice statements:

These abusers in Alaska, Wall said, were specifically sent to Alaska "to get them off the grid, where they could do the least amount of damage" to the church's public image.

Why does the church keep sending these priests, who have come to be such a major liability, back into ministry? "It's all about keeping the stores open, keeping the revenue rolling," Wall says. The Alaskan provinces in particular, Wall says, were a source of revenue—not from the Native population living there, but from parishioners in the lower 48 who were encouraged to donate for the Native ministry up north. "You could raise thousands to fund a mission that cost very little to run," Wall says. "The profit margin is huge."

Oh wait. We can't forget Pope Fritzy's stalling when it came to a California priest named Stephen Kiesle. And why would he hold back on defrocking a paedophile? Why it's the "good of the universal Church" at stake, of course.

I am hoping for a schism within the Catholic Church but I won't be holding my breath for this nor for justice ever being served for the victims of these priests and the higher ups like Fritzy who put the image of the Church before the lives of the children.
