Here's the third installment of a series in which I document actual cases from the tech support crew here at DHFS.


ANNOYING E-MAIL

USER RECEIVING UNWANTED AND ANNOYING E-MAILS FROM PERSONS WHINING ABOUT STATE EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION DAY AND/OR THE GOVERNOR. THESE E-MAILS OFTEN CONTAIN DISTURBING GRAMMATICAL AND/OR SPELLING ERRORS AND DISPLAY THE SENDERS IGNORANCE AND/OR LACK OF ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND OR COMMUNICATE. USER IS REQUESTING THAT SOME SORT OF FILTER BE INSTALLED TO STOP THESE E-MAILS. HE'S ABOUT TO TURN OFF GROUPWISE AND/OR INISTALL GROUPWISE AS A LAST RESORT.
