Next Week Is American Craft Beer Week

The Dulcinea pointed this out to me and is trying to get me to play hookie from work to be her drunk driver.

May 15-21 is American Craft Beer Week. In addition to just enjoying craft beers generally, there's also a tour to be had. Start by getting your Great American Beer Tour Passport (PDF). Then go to participating breweries, have a pint, and then get the passport stamped. Each stamp gets you a point (2 if the establishement is a member of the Brewers Association) and, if you get enough points, you can get a prize such as a pint glass or a shirt.

For folks in the Madison area, here are the closest destinations for your itinerary:

Great Dane - Fitchburg & Madison
Gray's (Tour @ 1:30 Sat 5/20) - Janesville
Huber - Monroe
New Glarus - New Glarus
Tryanena - Lake Mills
Capital - Middleton
Ale Asylum - Madison
Esser's - Cross Plains
Grumpy Troll - Mount Horeb
Lake Louie - Arena

Since The Dulcinea and I will be in Milwaukee on Saturday, we might get the chance to have our passports stamped there as well. I'm aiming for the funky pint glasses.
