LOST Sneak Peek

Here's a recently-aired sneak peak at the new season of LOST. IT contains a whole scene featuring Sawyer locked away in a cage with a mysterious contraption.



My own personal hypothesis is that he's at the zoological station mentioned on the blast door map. The button and the pedal are not human-scaled. There's a pipe leading from the food machine to a trough as it were going to serve non-humans. And the "shock"? While it lifted and threw Sawyer, it presumably wouldn't have so great an effect on a much larger creature such as, say, a polar bear. No idea what the paddle hoolie is. Part of the Dharma initiative was to repatriate and de-territorialize the polar bear. (And the producers are promising a return of the polar bear this season.)
