Seen before a showing of Normal which was a hoot. I did not expect the mayor, played by Henry Winkler, to get blown up. Hehe. I was, however, disappointed at the lack of regional Minnesota accent and dialect. No mention of hotdish at the potluck. Oh well. Still, it's always good to have a Ben Wheatley movie.

Seen before Strange Harvest at Point. Strange Harvest was disappointing. It was True Detective season 1 but done in a Fox reality show kind of way. There were some good elements but the interviews were just really cheesy. But I liked the Lovecraftian vibes of the planets being aligned bringing doom.
The screening began with a commercial for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre which is returning to screens. This was followed by one for Witchboard before the trailers began.
Things ended with a commercial for Traumatika featuring claims such as "This is not a movie you see, this is a movie you survive!" and various things touting the movie's extreme brutality. I'll pass.
