What looked like a few hundred folks donned holiday duds and rode their bikes down State Street yesterday morning.
I had hoped to stop in at Mickey's Dog House for a Chicago dog and/or an Italian beef but, alas, there was a sign on the door apologizing as they were going to open late. D'oh! I couldn't wait around until noon so I instead had a gyros at Parthenon. That place looks to have been remodeled since I was last there a few years back.
Well, I shall head down to State Street again one of these days in an attempt to get my Chicago culinary fix.
