My Second Doctor marathon continues with Invasion of the Cat-People by Gary Russell.
A fun story, if somewhat busy. It was a bit light on the Doctor as you've got 2 companions, the titular baddies, and the Euterpians to boot. However, the Doctor was fun in the scenes he appeared in. I liked how Russell linked him to the TARDIS by having him explain that the ship shrunk a little during his regeneration. Also, the chase scene in Baghdad was fun. Oh, and I enjoyed the Cat-People with their feline social hierarchy and the room in their ship with the big litter boxes. Goofy but thoroughly enjoyable.
While it has its strong points, it was middle of the road otherwise, to my taste.
