And this means my drought of cat pics is over.
I brought out all of my cat accoutrement this afternoon - dishes, litter box, and whatnot. Being an old softy, I teared up as I laid everything out as memories of Piper flooded in.
Soon enough it was time to get Willow. The foster mom took a picture of me holding her in my Sixth Doctor hoodie so we'll be the hoopiest pair on the adoption site's social media soon, I suspect.
When I got her home and opened the carrier, she looked around and then went for the safety of underneath the couch.
She eventually came out and snooped around the place.
Then she investigated other rooms and found ample space to hide underneath my bed where she started meowling and her cries tugged on my heart strings somethin' fierce, I can tell you.
I retired to the couch to read and, after a while, she came out and joined me.
She is such a sweetie pie!
