Order Up!

I got my copy of the Jethro Tull boot, Completely Under Wraps, today. It was recorded on November 2, 1984 right here in Madison. The version of "Clasp" on here is really good - Big Boy Doane Perry really hammers it out on the drums.

Thank Christ work is over. I thought it would never end. After lunch I started I went deskside to what was supposed to have been a simple removal of a virus but turned into a 1 hour plus fiasco removing spyware. On the plus side, I broke it just like I did another user's PC but figured out how to fix it. The Coupon Age piece of fuck ads its own hoolie to the Layered Service Provider and removing it fucks up the Winsock2 so the PC loses network connectivity. But I figured out how to fix that so there ended up being joy in Mudville. Plus the womyn whose PC I was fixing was a hottie. Probably in her late 40s, she had absolutely beautiful eyes. I saw The Fickle One today too. Didn't get to talk to her much, though. It humored me that, when she said hello, it would be in a very high-pitched voice but, when she was conversing, her voice would go back to normal.

On a really good note, I got a lengthy e-mail from Roy. It's a shame he moved back to Norway but we'll be able to keep in contact. At least he didn't move somewhere all nice'n'sunny he can brag about to me now that winter is fast approaching. Due partially to over-consumption of alcohol, he developed acute pancreatitis. Fortunately, he is recovering well. He is living in a town called Gjøvik which is located:

Since he is convalescing, perhaps I can convince him to finish or, at least, continue translating Prost Gotvins geometri. That bastard was making some headway but stopped right as the mystery deepened because he met a womyn. Damn womyn always keeping men from their translation duties! Like myself, Roy is a big Tull fan so I'll have to burn him a show and send it to him with a postcard.

For a little burlesque, check out The Virtual Bartender. I'll have a "lipstick kiss", please.
