It is frequently forgotten that Berry Gordy, Jr. had his hands in the records business before forming Tamla | Motown. In this instance, he was working for his sister's "Anna" Records. The original recording of "Money (That's What I Want)" was released on Anna, including a 78 RPM pressing very late in their existance.

I knew Gordy was in the business before Tamla but didn't know "Money" was initially released on a different label. Thanks.
