The tree that the city planted out front has survived the winter. The first tree they put out there after cutting down our lovely old, shade throwing one was dead on arrival so I was a bit anxious about this one.
I credit my judicious watering back in the autumn. (Ahem.)
The tag says it is an Early Glow Buckeye. Perhaps it will have some nice color is 6 months.
