Jamie and Victoria have a little spat about the virtues and moral failings of noted Scottish rebel William Wallace which sends the latter to her room in tears. The Doctor sneakily lands the TARDIS in the Scottish Highlands in the late 13th century where they meet up with the future Guardian of Scotland.
Accused of stealing the laird's(?) prize bull, the Doctor does his best William of Baskerville and proves the innocence of the TARDIS crew by examining footprints. This is followed by a fishing trip which leads Wallace on a path to his destiny.
This is standard Doctor Who fare yet quite enjoyable. You can hear the irritation in Jamie's brogue.
