Chicago turning into Madison?

A recent episode of Chicago Public Radio's Curious City is an update of one they broadcast back in 2018 about grocery co-ops in the city.

The program name checks Madison and our reputation of being home to co-ops a couple of times and notes that such co-ops originated in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. It gives credit to the Finns and their descendants up there for having done the deed as they come from a more cooperative working background.

Are there any grocery co-ops left in Superior/Douglas County? Do the employees hit the saunas with a bottle of vodka after their shifts end?
