This ramen is crazy hot, apparently
Why do spicy ramen packets always have someone or something screaming on them? The last one I bought had a guy sweating bullets screaming, "WITH NOODLES!"
It is emulating the artwork of 'spicy' ramen in Japan.
One of the last ramen shacks I hit in 2017 was Kikanbo in Kanda (Chiyoda Ward). [English-language review.] Its illustrations all depict the diner sweating profusely from the heat (customizable) of the ramen he is consuming. I opted for level 3 (average). I was not bothered by it.
