Goodbye Exhaust Pros.
This site will soon have a five-story apartment building with a UW Credit Union branch on the ground floor. The beloved Java Cat, which is losing its home to this development, was supposed to have a spot in the new building but the latest scuttlebutt is that the developer is not offering them enough space. So it looks like their move out to the East Towne area will be permanent. Progress!

I have no idea what this is supposed to mean. AEPS? It was painted on the incline of the concrete runoff reservoir thingy in the neighborhood.
While the neighborhood critters are probably not happy, I am. They are nearly done demolishing my neighbor's house which was totaled when a tree fell on it back in June. I was getting worried that the place would remain through the winter and then we'd have a bunch of homeless rats wandering around looking for a new home next year when the place was torn down. Still no word on whether he'll rebuild.
